Many pupils of the surrounding schools were interested in the life, music and the belief of Musica Sacra International's guests from all over the world. Sponsored by the Kulturfonds Bayern, the Förderverein Internationaler Chorbegegnungen im Allgäu e.V. and the Bürgerstiftung Ostallgäu, the young people got the unique chance to see films on the different religions and to discuss with believers from all over the world afterwards.

A special School project supported by the Bavarian School Ministry, for pupils from the whole region. From Wednesday to Friday before Musica Sacra International 2006, pupils were able to see religion - live! School classes were able to choose from Buddhism, Judaism and Islam. A film was shown at t he Marktoberdorf cinema filmburg and afterwards the participants of the festivals spoke about faith and life at their respective homes. The pupils were imppressed and there were many questions - a wonderful meeting of young people with people from all over the world.

Nuns from the Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery at Kathmandu worked on a beautiful sand mandala in five days of work in meditative atmosphere at the town hall of Marktoberdorf. And the people of the town came to see and also came back to see the fascinating process! The wonderful frame for these touching rites was an exhibition of Tibetian Thangkas - a new cooperation with the Buddhist centre Schwarzenberg. They collected the wonderful meditation pictures at Buddhist people in the whole Allgäu region - and were always present for questions and discussion.
