2010: Loten Namling, Tibet/Switzerland
Loten Namling is a well known Tibetan musician, artist and performer. His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama once called Loten 'a dedicated and sincere singer with a strong and powerful voice'. With his unmistakable Tibetan appearance, one could easily imagine him as an emanation of yogi Thang Thong Gyalpo, the founder of Tibetan opera.

2010: Cordana, Indonesia
Formed in 1992, by the founder Aida Swenson. The aspiration of the Indonesian Children's Choir and Youth Choir-Cordana is to prepare musicians for singing as well as musical leadership in Indonesia. Their dedicated program is a means of providing a critical need for music education for children, especially those in the lower economic groups who would not otherwise be able to afford this special kind of training that provides both musical and spiritual growth.

2010: Subtle Voices - Ashish Sankrityayan (India) and Skye Lofvander (Denmark)
Dhrupad singer Ashish Sankrityayan is based in Delhi and has studied Dhrupad - the ancient North Indian court and temple music genre for nearly twenty years from various singers associated with the Dagar style. Based on his studies with many traditional singers of the Dagar vani, and his own researches on Dhrupad, Ashish has developed his own syncretic and highly eclectic view of the Dagar style, combining influences from many maestros he has studied from or heard.

2010: Collegium Singers Tel Aviv, Israel
The vocal ensemble, Collegium Singers, was established in 1997 by the conductor, Avner Itai. Since its inception, this ensemble is active in singing both A-capella and with chamber orchestras, while placing an emphasis on performing Jewish and Israeli music together with the best of the classical repertoire. The members of the group are classically trained and have years of experience in ensemble singing.

2010: VocaMe, Germany
Recognising an undiscovered musical treasure in Kassia, Popp formed VocaMe, a top-flight ensemble of renowned singers from the Early Music scene: Sigrid Hausen, Natalia Lincoln, Sabine Lutzenberger, Sarah M. Newman, Elisabeth Pawelke, and Gerlinde Sämann. Popp took on the role of musical director for the ensemble and also made use of his expertise in various medieval instruments, providing occasional instrumental accompaniment.

2010: Erguvan Ensemble, Turkey
The Erguvan Ensemble of Istanbul interprets the music of the Sufis and the Ottoman empire. The members of the ensemble, which has been in existence since 2007, perform together in Turkey and abroad as well as making solo performances. The ensemble’s singers are accompanied by traditional Turkish instruments such as the Qanun zither, the short necked lute, Oud, or the Nay reed pipe.

The Munich Vocal Ensemble consists of some 25 vocally trained male and female singers. The chamber choir was founded by Martin Zöbeley in 1992 and has a repertoire which spans all periods of musical history from the renaissance to the present day. It focuses on rarely performed a-cappella music from the 15th and 16th centuries.

„Kwaya ya Uinjilisti Loruvani“ is the choir of the Christian community Ilboru at the diocese of Arusha (Lutheran protestant Church of Tanzania). The choir consists of 10 female and 11 male singers, a colourful mixture of housewives, workers and students, united in their common love for music. Their repertoire is made up of traditional African Songs, mainly from the Massai-culture (in Swahili and Massai).

Heinavanker (the hay cart) was founded in Tallinn in 1988 in the Studio Linnamuusikud. The ensemble took its name from the famous altarpiece of Hieronymus Bosch (1453-1516). 2008: Estudio Coral de Buenos Aires - Argentina
The Estudio Coral de Buenos Aires was founded in 1981 by a group of young professional musicians who had been working together for ten years as the vocal group „9 de Cámara“. Under the leadership of Carlos López Puccio, the ensemble is today considered the best chamber choir in Argentina. The “Estudio Coral de Buenos Aires” is an Argentine chamber choir specialized in contemporaneous repertoire. Since its foundation in 1981 the choir has performed the premičre in Argentina of the most significant Twentieth Century choral pieces by Ligeti, Poulenc, Schönberg, Petrassi, Dallapiccola, Messiaen, Bernstein, Copland, Penderecki, Chihara, Druckman, Barber, Reger, Pärt, Gorecki, Dusapin, Pizzetti, Tavener, etc., and a vast amount of pieces by Argentine authors have been performed for their first time by the “Estudio Coral de Buenos Aires”. The group has edited eleven recordings which include, among others, Messiaen‘s Cinq Rechants, Poulenc‘s Figure Humaine, Penderecki‘s Stabat Mater, Schönberg‘s Friede auf Erden and Arvo Part‘s Berliner Messe.

2008: The Contemporary Lovers of Mevlana - Turkey
The Contemporary Lovers of Mevlana were formed in 1988 in Istanbul under the leadership of their spiritual master Hasan Dede. He laid down the basis for an association whose aim was to preserve the culture of the Galata Mewlewi (Dervish monastery) and to emphasize the tolerance of the Islamic religion, through the way of love and unity of their patron saint, Mevlana Celaluddin Rumi.
