Marktoberdorf - district town in the beautiful Allgäu region- 100km south west of Munich - near the alps - meeting point of the world wide choral scene!
The former car district code MOD is still the informal abbreviation for the town - so the big concert and theater hall of the town was named MODEON and now our name is MODfestivals!
Each year around Whitsun (midth/ end of May) we organize here in Marktoberdorf two different outstanding festivals:
• in the even years the festival Musica Sacra International
• in uneven years the International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf
